Woodburn Clock Plaza

Harry and Jeanette Henney were active members of the Woodburn community. Mr. Henney was principal of the Woodburn school and served as a City Councilman for many years. Their daughter Jane Henney served in Washington D.C. during the Clinton administration. The children of Harry and Jeanette have erected this clock tower in their memory.

Located at the corner of Main Street and Bull Rapids Road in downtown Woodburn, this Clock Plaza is a great addition to the city and will be enjoyed by our community for many years to come.

Upon the completion of construction, a dedication ceremony was held on July 8th, 2017 to officially open the Woodburn Clock Plaza to the public. Among the many speakers were, Mayor Joe Kelsey; Former Mayor Richard Hoeppner; and Floyd Henney (son of Harry and Jeanette Henney).

Many of you have been requesting the recipe for the delicious gingersnaps that were provided at the dedication ceremony and the Henney Family has graciously provided this to us.
