Items listed below are a summary of current changes to date. It is meant to relay important information but is not meant to be complete.

Executive Order 20-07 reschedules the Indiana Primary for June 2nd, 2020

Executive Order 20-08 encourages citizens to remain at home if possible. If not possible, very specific conditions are spelled out to allow transit elsewhere.

Executive Order 20-08 does not apply to essential governmental functions. This includes: first responders, law enforcement, emergency dispatchers and management personnel, legislators, judges, court personnel, jurors and grand jurors, corrections personnel, hazardous materials responders, child protection and child welfare personnel, housing and shelter personnel, military, and other governmental employees working for, or to support, essential businesses and operations

Executive Order 20-08 defines essential businesses and operations to include: Healthcare and Public Health Operations, Human Services Operations, Essential Governmental Functions, Essential Infrastructure, businesses on CISA list, stores that sell groceries and medicine, food beverage and agriculture, organizations that provide charitable and social services, religious entities, media, gas stations and businesses needed for transportation, financial and insurance institutions, hardware and supply stores, critical trades, mail post shipping logistics delivery and pick up services, educational institutions, laundry services, restaurants for consumption off-premises, supplies to work from home, supplies for essential businesses and operations, transportation, home-based care and services, residential facilities and shelters, professional services, manufacture distribution and supply chain for critical products and industries, critical labor union functions, hotels and motels, and funeral services.

Executive Order 20-08 designates social distancing requirements.

Executive Order 20-09 allows governing bodies to meet by videoconference or by telephone so long as a quorom of members participate, without adopting a policy for electronic participation. The meeting still needs to be made available to members of the public and media.

Executive Order 20-09 limits public records requests to be made only via mail, fax, or electronic mail until April 7th.

Executive Order 20-09 suspends limitations regarding daily bank deposits for a municipality and allows them to occur at least twice weekly instead, assuming they are secured properly on days with which they are not deposited and sufficient internal controls exist.

Executive Order 20-10 spells out consequences to be exercised if an eating establishment provides in-dining services.

Executive Order 20-11 allows on-premises permit holders to sell alcohol as if they had a retail permit, in order to provide carryout service through March 31, 2020.
